However, he’s since released ferocious training footage prompting some to call for a full return.
When asked about Tyson’s comeback talk, Eddie Hearn told BBTV: “They reached out to me. I had a message the other day from someone.
“I would probably like to see it, but I kinda feel like, ‘Is it a bit irresponsible to let a 53-year-old legend back in the ring?’
“He looks pretty dangerous. It’s the fascination of could he actually go in at 53 and do some damage in the division?
“Maybe, maybe not. But should we be encouraging that from someone who is an all-time-great?”
Hearn caused controversy among boxing purists last year as he staged the YouTuber fight between KSI and Logan Paul.
Regarding the moral dilemma, Hearn added: “There’s a fine line – and I’ve crossed it a couple of times – between the integrity of the sport vs entertainment and delivering numbers.
“We’ve gotta try and keep it as close to the right mark as we can.
“I don’t know, stranger things have happened, we’ll see.”
