Rio Ferdinand has urged Manchester United to seal a mega-money move for Tottenham superstar Harry Kane.
The England striker has put a number of top European clubs on red-alert by admitting that his personal ambition could see him leave Spurs in the near future.
Ferdinand said: “Harry has always been coy and held back but he’s dropped a couple of bombs.
“He’s been waiting for the dream at Spurs to materialise but it hasn’t happened. He’s frustrated.
“Do you think Harry would be happy, fulfilled and satisfied if he scores goals, break records but with no trophies at the end of his career? No. He will be upset and devastated.
“I think that statement means Harry is off, he wants to win trophies and that will alert clubs.
“I know Man United will be in for him because that type of player is perfect for them. I’m sure Juventus will be in and will Real Madrid come in?
“He will go for massive dough, at least £130m in today’s market.”
Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho is once again keen to sign Diego Godin.
The Inter Milan defender almost joined the Portuguese at Man United in 2018 before performing a u-turn and staying with Atletico Madrid for one more season.
It was a decision which rankled with Mourinho as he felt a deal was all but done to land the Uruguayan centre-back.
But with Jan Vertonghen set to leave north London, Mourinho is keen on Godin again according to Corriere dello Sport.
One potential stumbling block for Tottenham, though, could be United retaining an interest in the veteran.
Tottenham are reportedly keen on Willian amid news he wants to stay in the Premier League if he leaves Chelsea this summer.
The Brazil winger will see his Blues contract expire later this year and ESPN claim that he will not sign new terms in west London.
But the 31-year-old is looking to remain in the capital, putting Tottenham and north London rivals Arsenal on alert.
Willian has scored 59 goals in 329 appearances for Chelsea since joining from Anzhi Makhachkala for £30million in August 2013.
Tottenham, as well as Arsenal and West Ham, are interested in Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren.
The 30-year-old Croat is out of favour at Anfield and looks set to leave the club soon.
Teamtalk claim the Premier League trio are looking to keep Lovren in England and will move for him when the transfer window opens.
Lovren has made just nine league appearances this season.
