And his new trainer believes Fury’s will to win could give him an edge over the undefeated WBC heavyweight champion Wilder.

The two heavyweights will meet in a highly-anticipated fight two years since their first match ended in a draw in December 2018.

Steward told BT Sport Boxing: “I believe Tyson Fury brings to the table his natural boxing ability, his charisma, his attitude.

“He has this certain swag about him, he can talk trash and he is able to back it up, but he loves that challenge and any challenge.

“Whether it is talking trash or it’s boxing or competing, that’s Tyson Fury.

“He is a true competitor at anything, not even just boxing or trash talking. If we are playing a game of poker he wants to win.

“If we are swimming he wants to win, he wants to win at everything.

“That is a strong characteristic that Tyson carries. Just wanting to win, wanting to be pushed, wanting that challenge, the ultimate challenge.

“That is one of the things that I am looking forward to in this rematch with Deontay Wilder is that challenge.

“He felt he fought and won the first fight and this poses a bigger challenge for him and he wants a knockout.”
