Robbie Savage believes Jack Grealish is ‘far better than Aston Villa’ and should join one of the Premier League’s big clubs.
The Villa skipper scored a magnificent goal in a 2-2 draw against Manchester United at the weekend, curving the ball past David de Gea from a tight angle into the top corner.
It was another superb display from the Birmingham-born playmaker, who was by far and away the best player on the pitch at Old Trafford.
His latest performances has seen calls for him to be called up to the England squad grow, having so far been snubbed by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate for the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
And ex- Man United academy product Savage, who also used to play for Villa’s rivals Birmingham City, believes he deserves a move to the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Tottenham.
“Aston Villa what are they going to achieve? Staying in the Premier League,” Savage said on BBC Five Live.
