KSI would ‘destroy’ Justin Bieber in a boxing match, as Tommy Fury issues challenge to face YouTube star in 2020

KSI has warned Justin Bieber he would ‘destroy’ him if the pair were to ever meet inside a boxing ring.

Britain’s Olajide Olatunji emerged victorious, via split decision, from his six-round cruiserweight contest on Sunday against fellow YouTube personality Logan Paul in Los Angeles.

Canadian pop star Bieber was spotted ringside in support of Paul and was also seen in his locker room leading a prayer prior to the fight – and was called an ‘idiot’ by KSI for backing the American.

“I don’t know why he would want to do that,” KSI said.

“If he is going to be at the fight I’ll make sure to lock eyes with him so he can see his boy get knocked out.

“I’ll be sure to laugh at him as well.”

Since winning his grudge rematch, KSI has continued his war of words with Bieber, who posted on his Instagram story that Paul was the better fighter.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain host Piers Morgan, KSI said a fight with the diminutive singer could happen but there would be no point.

“If Justin Bieber actually wants to fight me then yeah, obviously we will make it happen.

“Justin Bieber, I would destroy him. There’s no point. There would be nothing.

“He doesn’t know how to fight. He doesn’t know how to do anything combat sports. Let him just stick to singing.”

With KSI seemingly intent on continuing his new career in the paid ranks as a professional boxer, he may not have to wait too long until his next bout.

British light-heavyweight Tommy Fury, who is currently 2-0, returns to the ring on December 21 and will feature on the undercard of Daniel Dubois v Kyotaro Fujimoto.

The 20-year-old younger brother of Tyson, who had a stint on reality TV show Love Island in the summer, said he would be happy to face KSI next year in a ‘Battle of Britain’.

“This time next year 2020 maybe a big fight with KSI, see where he is at,” Fury told BT Sport.

Tommy Fury returns to action in December

” I watched the fight the other day and I did not know he was going to continue fighting. He says to himself he wants to fight, he wants to keep fighting, so listen, I am a fighting man, I’m young and we are both from that influencing world – he is from YouTube, I am from Love Island.

“We both have a great following here in the UK. Why not make it a Battle of Britain?
“I’m here, I’m not looking over the 21st December… if he wants it, he knows where I am.”
