KSI managed to squeak past Logan Paul in Los Angeles on Saturday night in both men’s professional boxing debuts.
Paul looked the more polished boxer out of the two, but KSI was the constant aggressor, though his attacks were wild.
The turning point in the fight saw Paul land a beautiful uppercut on his British counterpart, but in the follow-up punches, he held the back of KSI’s head and that saw him have two points deducted.
Ultimately, that was enough to give KSI he narrow win.
After the fight, KSI was asked whether he now respected Logan Paul and after a pause that the crowd seemed to eat up, he conceded that he did.
KSI called Paul a ‘big man’ for getting in the ring twice and said he had earned his respect. They sealed it with a handshake.
Fans might not like bitter rivals kissing and making up after the fact, but they certainly won’t like Paul getting on the mic and admitting all his bad-mouthing was to ‘sell it’.
It’s basically a common practice to make-up after the bout these days, anyway. If David Haye ad Tony Bellew could make up then why not, eh?
