Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 700th career goal on Monday night in Portugal’s match with the Ukraine.
The 34-year-old has been a star for club and country over many years and this landmark is just another to add to his long list of accolades.
The goal was his 95th for Portugal to add to his 605 club goals for Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus.
His 700th goal came in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Ukraine.
Ronaldo has had many special moments over the years but here are five the forward is perhaps best remembered for.

Goal vs Porto in the Champions League
Who can forget this outrageous strike from 40 yards that seemingly came out of nowhere.
It helped Manchester United reach the semi-final of the Champions League in what was his final season at Old Trafford.
Bicycle kick against Juventus
There have been plenty of stunning goals during his career but this perhaps tops the lot.
The bicycle kick for Real Madrid against Juventus in Turin had the home fans standing to applaud.
Madrid went on to win the Champions League for a third consecutive season before Ronaldo ended up joining Juve the following season.
Goal against Manchester United
The forward made a habit of scoring spectacular goals against former clubs and ones he would go on to join.
Last season, Ronaldo scored this incredible over the shoulder volley against Manchester United in Turin.
Despite this spectacular strike, they went on to lose the game 2-1.
Free-kick against Portsmouth
Ronaldo may have struggled to score free-kicks of late, he is statistically one of the worst in Serie A history, but this stunning effort will always be remembered.
The strike against Portsmouth in 2008 arrowed into the top corner, leaving goalkeeper David James no chance.
Nani denies Ronaldo goal against Spain
This would have been a superb individual goal from the Portugal star had it not been for Nani trying to poach it as the ball was crossing the line.
Ronaldo beat two defenders and then chipped Iker Casillas from close range but the then Manchester United winger headed the ball as it was going in.
Nani was in an offside position and the goal was chalked off, cueing a furious reaction from Ronaldo who threw his captain’s armband to the ground.
It did not matter too much, though, as Portugal went on to win that 2010 match.
