Prince William and Frank Lampard surprised a group of England fans on Friday night at a London pub.
The pair shared the evening with the supporters to watch the Three Lions’ defeat to Czech Republic in Euro 2020 qualifying.
The event was organised by mental health charity Heads Together, with the group consisting of people who had struggled in recent times.
While Chelsea initially tweeted a video of the fans cheering Harry Kane’s opener, the mood soon changed.
Goals from Jakub Brabec and Zdenek Ondrasek condemned England to defeat – with the Duke of Cambridge’s disappointment evident in a tweet sent by Kensington Palace.
