Conor McGregor appears in court
McGregor was remanded on continuing bail after he appeared in court over an alleged incident in a pub in Dublin.
The mixed martial arts fighter is accused of assaulting Desmond Keogh at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh on April 6, where McGregor was promoting his brand of whisky.
The 31-year-old appeared at Dublin District Court in the Criminal Court of Justice on Friday, flanked by two security men.
His solicitor, Michael Staines, confirmed his client is currently on bail and asked for the case to be adjourned to November 1.
Garda Jason O’Carroll made no objection to the application. He said that disclosure in the case is outstanding.
The judge remanded McGregor on continuing bail until November 1 when the fighter will either make a plea or contest the charge.

Tyron Woodley wants boxing fight with Canelo Alvarez
Former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley wants to fight Canelo Alvarez in a boxing ring.
Woodley has not fought in the UFC since he lost his belt against Kamaru Usman in March.
It seems the 37-year-old may be targeting a switch to boxing rather than a return to the Octagon.
Alvarez is a three-weight world champion and ranked as the top pound-for-pound boxer.
“All I wanted to do was box when I came up,” Woodley told TMZ. “I just started MMA at 23, so I felt I was a little old to start boxing at that age. But since I was a kid, that was the only sport I’ve ever wanted to do. So most of my training is boxing training.
“I still can box right now,” he added. “I want Canelo. I don’t want to go in there and fight ‘Boo Boo the Fool’ because if he lands a couple shots off on you then everybody going to be like, ‘Oh, Tyron got touched up by this dude, and he ain’t even a .500 fighter’. If you go in there and risk it all and let it hang, I want the no. 1 guy.”
Joanna Jedrzejczyk makes weight
There were fears Jedrzejczyk would not make weight for her strawweight bout with Michelle Waterson at UFC Fight Night 161.
Reports emerged earlier in the week that she had informed UFC officials she would not be able to make the 116 pound limit and requested a catchweight fight.
That request was thought to have been turned down by Waterson.
Jedrzejczyk has struggled to cut for the 116 pound limit but has never missed weight before.
At the weigh-in before the fight in Tampa she stepped on the scales at 115.5 pounds.
