Billy Joe Saunders will defend his WBO super-middleweight title against Argentine Marcelo Estaban Coceres on his US debut in Los Angeles on November 9.
Saunders will put his belt for the first time after clinching the vacant title over Shefat Isufi in Stevenage earlier this year against an opponent who is no joke.
Coceres has won all 29 of his professional bouts in the super-welterweight and middleweight divisions and previously claimed Latino and Fedebol titles.
Saunders said: “I’m really looking forward to fighting in LA and making my professional American debut.
“Coceres is a tough, world-class operator, an unbeaten fighter and I certainly feel the pressure to out-perform him and look good on such a massive platform.”
Saunders’ title defence will take place on the undercard of the celebrity bout between YouTube stars KSI and Logan Paul.
The bout between the two viral sensations will be shown on Sky Sports Box Office, with former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellew offering to fight both men for $1million…at the same time.
“Listen, they could never mess around with someone like me, mate,” he told Alan Brazil on the Sports Breakfast show.
“You can’t knock it, you’ve got to give them fair play and credit for doing it, but to start saying it’s the future of boxing, give me a break, don’t talk nonsense…
“I’m not going to lie to you guys, it’s probably going to do more buys than 90 per cent of pay-per-views.
“That’s the crazy situation we’re looking it, it’s just insane.”
When asked what it would take for him to appear on the undercard, Bellew concluded: “For a million dollars I’ll fight the two of them at once.”
