Most boxing fans are aware Tyson Fury has become a big deal in America with his last two fights against Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin.
But now it appears the WWE has paid the Gypsy King major bucks to appear for the wrestling company.
Fury was in attendance for the first-ever SmackDown on FOX on Friday night and he had an altercation with Braun Strowman.
Strowman is legitimately 6-foot-8 and weighs around 380 pounds, but after some taunting that Fury did not appreciate, the former world champion attempted to leap the barricade and confront Strowman.
Watch the incident below:
Of course, this is all theatre, but it looks like it will not be a one-off and these two will meet somewhere down the line.
When, is the question?
Fury has only recently had the stitches out from the terrible gash above his eye suffered at the hands of Wallin and he has a rematch for the WBC heavyweight title in February with Deontay Wilder.
He can’t risk any damage to his eye, so one would think Saudi Arabia on October 31 is out of the question unless WWE get creative.
But, WrestleMania 36 is possible. If he beats Wilder for the title and then goes to WWE’s biggest show with it, that would be huge.
When Floyd Mayweather faced Big Show at WrestleMania, he made a reported $20 million from WWE. You can bet Fury will be looking at in and around that figure to work with Strowman on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
