All Elite Wrestling Dynamite’s network television debut went down very well with wrestling fans on Wednesday.
Riho beat Nyla to become the first ever AEW Women’s champion, while Jack Hager, formerly known as Jack Swagger in WWE, made a shock return to wrestling by attacking the Rhodes brothers.
And one of the highlights of the night came from AEW world champion Chris Jericho in the main event when he teamed up with Santana and Ortiz to take on Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
During a commercial break, a fan chucked a hot dog into the ring, which prompted Jericho to pick up a microphone and address the crowd.
“Hey, hold on, I’ve got a question… who threw a wiener in the ring?!” said Jericho, who then scrunched up the hot dog before throwing it to the ground.
Jericho hit Young Bucks member Nick Jackson with the Judas Effect to pick up the win for his team.
Police are believed to have spoken to the fan who threw the hot dog into the ring, but no further action was taken.
Wrestling fans were quick to praise Jericho on social media for the hilarious way in which he dealt with the hot dog incident…
