It’s been an entertaining night in the Champions League with a number of Europe’s top teams and players in action.
There were wins for Liverpool and Chelsea, while Barcelona claimed a hard-fought victory over Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan.
However, goal of the night surely has to go to Ajax star Hakim Ziyech with his incredible strike silencing Valencia’s Mestalla.
Ziyech played a huge part in helping Ajax shock the continent by making it all the way to the semi-finals last season, including goals in both legs of their devastating last-16 triumph over Real Madrid.
The Dutch side sold the likes of Matthijs de Ligt to Juventus as they looked to make a pretty penny out of their new-found stars.
Morocco international Ziyech was heavily linked with a move away, with Arsenal tipped as favourites to land him in the summer.
However, Ziyech ended up staying and he’s showing just why he was linked to some of Europe’s top clubs with his exploits on Wednesday night.

The group also contains Premier League club Chelsea, who battled to a 2-1 victory at Lille.
Next up for Blues in the Champions League is a double header against the dangerous Ajax and Ziyech, who could cause Frank Lampard’s men a lot of problems.
