Videos of his apparent goal celebrations, ridiculous dummies and over-exuberant advantages regularly go viral on social media.

He’s also a massive Tranmere Rovers fan and was seen going nuts in the away end when they beat Forest Green Rovers to make the League Two play-off final.

Little did any of us know that in his spare time he is a caddie on the Ladies European Tour.

The 51-year-old was carrying the bag for Australian Whitney Hillier at the Estrella Damm Mediterranean Ladies Open this week.

Hillier hit a hole-in-one at the par three 17th to cue jubilant celebrations with Dean giving the golfer a hug before punching the air in delight.

Hillier made the cut for the weekend and had a share of eighth place going into the third round.

It was the first time Dean has carried the bag for the Australian.

After her second round, she said: “We are really good friends and he asked if I wanted a caddie for the week and I said, ‘Why not?’ He’s a great guy and we’ve had a lot of fun.”

Dean’s next job will be to take charge of VAR for the Premier League clash between Manchester United vs Arsenal at Old Trafford on Monday.
