Eddie Hearn has confirmed KSI and Logan Paul will contest their highly-anticipated rematch as PROFESSIONAL boxers later this year.
The YouTube stars will renew their rivalry on November 9 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on a Matchroom and DAZN card.
Last August, the social media influencers battled to a draw in what was effectively a glorified white-collar boxing bout, with both men wearing head guards.
However, pending clearance by the California State Athletic Commission, the rematch will take place later this year in LA.
However, the process involves simply paying $60, filling out a four-page application form and passing a medical. Former UFC champion Conor McGregor was granted a license in the state in 2016 before eventually fighting Floyd Mayweather in Las Vegas the following year.
Hearn was originally asked to help promote the first fight, but declined the offer.
However, he became interested after the duo sold out the 21,000-seater Manchester Arena and and drew a 1.1million audience on YouTube at a cost of £7.50.
Both men felt they had done enough to win the first fight in Manchester last year, with Paul tiring after a strong start to the bout.
“Personally I thought I won the fight in all honesty. He was absolutely gassed by the end of the fight and I was still ready to keep going,” said KSI.
Paul agreed: “I think it’s what the people want. Let’s give them a mother***ing rematch… I feel like I won that fight, but it doesn’t matter. What happened, happened. The rematch is going to be f***ing crazy.”
