Jon Moxley withdraws from AEW’s All Out through injury – another former WWE star, PAC, steps in Vs Kenny Omega

All Elite Wrestling have the biggest show of their young history on the horizon with All Out going down in Chicago next Saturday, August 31.

On the same day, NXT UK will have a TakeOver show in Cardiff and just earlier this week, the American version of NXT announced it will be moving to a major network and will compete in the exact same timeslot as AEW on Wednesday nights.

So, you’d imagine AEW need all of their biggest hitters for such a landmark event, but Jon Moxley has had to pull out of his matchup with Kenny Omega after a MRSA infection returned in his elbow.

The man formerly known as Dean Ambrose in the WWE has been swiftly replaced by PAC. The Newcastle-born star was set to compete against Hangman Page at Double or Nothing and it’s believed the original idea had him facing Omega at All Out anyway.

After he pulled out of Double or Nothing, plans changed. But, in an unlikely turn of events, they stayed the same, too!

It’s terribly unfortunate for Moxley in what would have been his biggest US bow since leaving WWE last April, but he has insisted he will be ready for AEW’s TV debut on October 2 following an operation next week.
