Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing are reportedly planning to stage the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch on November 9 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The YouTube sensations, each with around 20 million subscribers to their name, met for the first time in an entertaining six-round white collar fight last August, which was ultimately ruled a draw.
Since then, plans for a rematch have hit delay after delay, but now Lance Pugmire claims Hearn is involved and has things moving forwards.
It’s understood that November 9 is the new planned date for the KSI vs Logan Paul rematch with the Staples Center in Los Angeles booked to be the venue.
In their first fight, the YouTubers sold out England’s Manchester Arena and they’re expected to repeat the feat Stateside.
Hearn, the British boxing promoter who represents many of the sport’s big names, including Anthony Joshua, has previously expressed an interest in the YouTuber fights.
After watching KSI’s first sell-out event against Joe Weller at the Copper Box, then the Manchester Arena success, he has kept a keen eye on their progress.
Now, with Logan Paul’s American team seemingly finding it tough to work out the rematch, it appears Hearn has swooped in to save the day and will stage the event.
