Barcelona are preparing to launch a bid for Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar, according to reports.
The 27-year-old Brazilian left Camp Nou in a stunning £200million deal back in 2017, but now could return to his old club after telling the French champions he wants to leave.
According to Goal, the Catalan club are now ready to ramp up their bid to sign their former player in the coming days.
PSG are said to want to recoup more than the £200m they paid for their record signing, if they are to let him go this summer.
There may well be movement on that price, however, with the tricky winger desperate to make the return to Camp Nou and the LaLiga giants preparing to make an official offer.

This summer has been dominated by speculation surrounding Neymar’s future – and this was no less evident when Barcelona president Josep Bartomeu went public with his claim that the forward wanted to leave the French capital to return to Spain.
Despite returning to training with the club, Neymar has played no part in their pre-season preparations and had to watch from the stands as the French champions beat Rennes 2-1 to win the Trophee des Champions on Saturday.
Furthermore, the report states that PSG chiefs are aware of the player’s desire to re-join Barca and the transfer may well have already happened had the potential buying team not been the LaLiga club.
Last month, Thomas Tuchel revealed he knew Neymar wanted to leave Paris Saint-Germain before the Copa America.
“I am always disappointed when a player turns up late but it is clear between us, now it is between the club and Neymar,” Tuchel told RMC after his side’s 6-1 pre-season victory over German side Dynamo Dresden on Tuesday.
“I knew he wanted to leave before the Copa America but it is something between the club and player.
“I am the coach, he’s my player. If he is in the locker room, this is my player and I work with him.
“But I am ready for everything and have to adapt every day.”
