Romania Under-21 star Cristian Manea’s girlfriend was left in a bloody mess when she was caught up in an incident after the game against France.
Following the game at the Dino Manuzzi Stadium in eastern Italy, fans had to be pushed back by stewards, while security removed a number of supporters from the ground.
The young woman, known as Alina, was visibly distressed, as she was escorted away by tournament officials.
Her Romania shirt was covered in blood, as she held tissue to her mouth to stem the flow and it was quickly discovered she was the partner of Manea, who plays for CFR Cluj, on loan from Apollon Limassol.
