Premier League fixtures: Liverpool fans want Luis Suarez re-signed for opening day just so he can terrorise Norwich

Liverpool will face Norwich City in the first match of the 2019/20 Premier League season making it a tough start for the newly promoted side.

The Reds are coming off an incredible season where they finished an agonising one point behind Manchester City in the title race, but made up for that despair by winning the Champions League.

They have also enjoyed a lot of success against Norwich when the Canaries have been in the top flight over recent seasons.

In the last eight league encounters between the two sides, Norwich have failed to secure a single victory, drawing only twice while Liverpool won the other six.

Furthermore, the Reds have scored an incredible 28 goals in those six matches.

Playing a team as strong as Liverpool is a tough task for any newly promoted side, but their recent record is another reason for Norwich to dread their opening clash.

At least their arch-nemesis will not be playing, though.

Luis Suarez used to enjoy playing against Norwich and has three hat-tricks in six matches against them; he even once managed to score FOUR in a single game!
