Paul Pogba was seen receiving verbal abuse from some angry Manchester United fans after their 2-0 defeat to Cardiff on Sunday.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side ended the Premier League season in terrible form, earning just two points from their final five games.
When positive results were desperately needed in the race to finish in the top four, United faltered time and time again, and ended up finishing sixth in the table.
This means they have missed out on Champions League qualification for 2019/20 and may lose some of their big name players in the summer.
One of those rumoured to be eyeing a move away is French World Cup winner Pogba, who has been criticised by fans at times this season for failing to match his international form while playing for his club.
The 26-year-old bore the brunt of this flack as he apologised to supporters at Old Trafford following the Cardiff loss – some of them applauded, while others were very unforgiving.
