A huge number of Tottenham supporters will be left disappointed in their quest to buy tickets for Spurs’ first ever Champions League final.
The north Londoners’ booked their place in the June 1 showpiece on Wednesday evening with a sensational comeback defeat of Ajax, secured in the dying seconds by Lucas Moura’s hat-trick goal.
They will play Liverpool at the beginning of next month at Atletico Madrid’s Wanda Metropolitano as the two Premier League sides battle to be crowned Europe’s best.
However, over half of Tottenham’s season ticket holders will not be getting a seat for the season finale.

UEFA has allocated just 16,613 tickets to each club competing in the final, despite the Wanda Metropolitano holding a maximum 68,000 capacity.
4,000 tickets have been sold to fans worldwide, with the rest reserved for UEFA officials, national organisations, commercial partners, broadcasters and corporate hospitality
Season ticket holders are traditionally given priority for cup finals, but as 42,000 individuals have season tickets at Tottenham’s recently opened stadium, a large number have no chance of getting a seat for the Liverpool clash.
In fact, 25,387 season ticket holders will have to miss out due to UEFA’s 16,613 allocation.
