Also on the Player of the Year shortlist, the Manchester City ace heads the list of six 23 and under stars who have thrilled in the English top-flight this season.
Joining Sterling on it is Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold, Manchester United ace Marcus Rashford, and Man City team-mate Bernardo Silva.
There are also spots for West Ham youngster Declan Rice and Bournemouth midfielder David Brooks who has impressed since his summer move from Sheffield United.
Crystal Palace starlet Aaron Wan-Bissaka, though, misses out despite an excellent campaign at right-back.
