Harry Redknapp has told talkSPORT the hilarious story about him being conned by a ‘jockey’ for FIVE YEARS before discovering the truth.
Joining the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast live at Cheltenham, Redknapp recalled the time he was introduced to Lee Topliss, the jockey.
However, it turned out that this ‘Lee Topliss’ was not the real Topliss, but instead a conman who strung Redknapp along for half a decade!
He used his relationship with Redknapp to go to Tottenham matches, get Gareth Bale’s shirt, and even borrow £500 from the unsuspecting manager.
