West Ham United wonderkid Declan Rice looked over the moon when he was handed the Man of the Match award for his performance in their 1-0 win against Arsenal.
The 19-year-old, who turns 20 next week, thrilled with a dominating display against tepid Arsenal midfield and topped his display off with the match-winning goal.
It was a fine strike too as he wrapped his right boot around Samir Nasri’s delicate lay-off inside a crowded penalty area and he left Bernd Leno helpless between the sticks.
Rice has just signed a long-term contract at the London Stadium after prolonged talks but it hasn’t warned off top clubs like Manchester City who remain keen on signing the talent.
But, for now, the youngster remains a Hammer and the supporters will be hoping for many more displays like this.
