Chelsea hope Callum Hudson-Odoi will sign a new deal and remain with the club despite continued interest from Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga side are keen to add the 18-year-old to their team and are preparing a third offer in the region of £30million to land their target, having already had bids of £15m and £20m rejected.
However, it is understood Chelsea are eager to keep hold of the academy graduate who is highly-rated at Stamford Bridge having joined the club as a seven-year-old.
Hudson-Odoi has less than 18 months remaining on his current contract and any prospect of signing a new one would be considered, only if there is a guarantee of more regular football as he is keen to establish himself as a first-team player.
The winger, who returned to training on Thursday following a hamstring strain against Watford on Boxing Day, has made just six appearances for Chelsea this season.
He could be in contention to play against Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup on Saturday, with Sarri’s attacking options stretched.
Pedro is out with a hamstring injury, while Willian limped off in the 0-0 draw against Southampton. Olivier Giroud is also sidelined after suffering an ankle injury in the win over Crystal Palace.
