Dominic Solanke: Bournemouth want Liverpool striker in a £15million transfer

Bournemouth want to boost their attack and are looking at Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke.

Solanke is available after a proposed loan move to Crystal Palace collapsed due to a hamstring injury, but this does not appear to bother Bournemouth who see him as a long-term signing.

Huddersfield and Brighton are also interested in Solanke, who could cost £15million and has yet to feature for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season.
Eddie Howe is keen on the England U21 forward, particularly with Jermain Defoe heading to Rangers on an 18-month loan deal.
Should Solanke make the switch to the Vitality Stadium, he would have to fight for a place in the first-team up against current strikers Callum Wilson and Josh King.
Solanke would not be the first Liverpool player to join Bournemouth in this window, with the club reportedly agreeing a deal to sign Nathaniel Clyne on loan.

The Cherries have been looking for cover at full-back following injuries to Simon Francis and Adam Smith.
The 27-year-old was a regular starter in his first two seasons at Anfield after joining from Southampton in 2015, but Trent Alexander-Arnold emerged as first-choice while he was injured last season.
Howe would not be able to take two players from the same club on loan, meaning he would have to sign Solanke.
