Manchester United defender Ashley Young is wanted on a free transfer by Inter Milan.
The 33-year-old is out of contract at Old Trafford in the summer and is yet to agree terms on a new deal.
There is hope that the England international will resolve his situation before the summer and sign a 12 month extension but, as it stands, he is free to negotiate a pre-contract deal.
Young has made 19 appearances for United in all competitions this season and wore the captain’s armband in the 4-1 win over Bournemouth, a role has continued during the absence of Antonio Valencia.
