Tammy Abraham could be about to deal Aston Villa a huge blow.
The Chelsea striker is understood to be considering cutting short his loan deal with the Championship club.
Abraham, who has fired 14 goals for Villa this season, is due to spend the whole of 2018/19 with the Midlands side.
But Chelsea have the option to end the deal early in January and they may well take it up – with the 21-year-old’s blessing.
Abraham is believed to be eager for another shot at Premier League football, having spent last season on loan at Swansea City.
He will not be short of suitors, with the likes of Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Brighton and Fulham all on the lookout for attacking additions.

He scored five goals in 31 Premier League appearances in a struggling side, which was eventually relegated.
In the Championship this season, he has struck 14 times in 19 matches.
He may now have played his last game for the club, who have recovered from a poor start to the campaign to move within five points of the play-off places.
