Liverpool supporters had plenty to cheer about on Saturday night and a Barcelona legend had fans talking even more on Twitter.
The Reds beat Arsenal 5-1 at Anfield, putting themselves nine points clear at the top of the Premier League after Tottenham lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
And Spain legend Carles Puyol clearly enjoyed what he saw from Jurgen Klopp’s men.
Referring to Klopp’s tactics, which he once called ‘heavy metal football’, Puyol – a World Cup winner with his nation – tweeted “I Love rock & roll #liverpool”.
And the seal of approval from someone held in high esteem like the ex-centre-back sent Reds fans wild as their team ran riot on home soil.
