Sheffield United can leapfrog Boxing Day opponents Derby if they can beat Frank Lampard’s side at Bramall Lane.
Just a point separates the Blades and the Rams in sixth and fifth respectively as they look to strengthen their bids to get promoted to the Premier League.
However, both teams go into the contest in not the greatest form having not won in their last two games.

What the managers are saying
Chris Wilder (Sheffield United): “In a lot of ways we shouldn’t be anywhere near where we are, but we are, and I’d like to do even better.”
Frank Lampard (Derby County): “It is a game that we have absolute focus on. I’m confident because I believe in the players, but there is work to be done.
“We have to be careful, because there is a small gap opening up. If we have aspirations, we have to have a good Christmas period.”
Wilder’s side have no new selection concerns for Derby’s visit.
Striker Leon Clarke is hoping to make the starting XI after returning from injury to make a substitute appearance against Ipswich.
The away side are without Tom Lawrence, who has yet to shake off an ankle injury.
Midfielder Bradley Johnson serves the final game of a five-match ban for biting Stoke’s Joe Allen.
