Manchester United’s interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is already showing his class just hours after taking on the role of Jose Mourinho’s temporary replacement.
The Norwegian arrived at the club’s Training Centre on Thursday and immediately delighted a long-serving member of the club’s staff.
Kath Phipps has been with the Red Devils since 1968 as the club’s receptionist and upon Solskjaer’s arrival at the training complex, the club legend handed her a gift.
Phipps was given a large bar of Melkesjokolade – a Norwegian chocolate – which she appeared delighted with (pictured below).
Manchester United fans will hope Solskjaer’s tenure as caretaker boss will bring similar smiles as he looks to bring the club out the slump brought about by former manager Jose Mourinho.
