Alex Sandro has signed a new four and a half year contract with Juventus which will keep him at the club until summer 2023.
The Brazilian left back’s deal was due to run out in 2020, amid speculation that he could join either Manchester United, Chelsea or PSG in the coming summer.
However, rumours surrounding his future have now been put to bed as Sandro has announced he is staying at Juve.
“Today for me, my family and also for my teammates is a very happy day,” the 27-year-old declared.
“To the fans I would like to say that I will always give my best, as I have done so far, and to keep improving.
“In the years that I’ve been here I learnt the mentality of the club and of my teammates. Here we always work to win and this will never change.”
In three seasons at Juventus, Alex Sandro has played 134 matches, won three league and cup doubles, scored nine times and recorded 18 assists.
