Dominic Solanke is being lined up for a loan move to Crystal Palace in January.
The Liverpool striker is ready for a temporary switch away from Anfield in search of first team football.
Solanke, 21, is highly rated by Jurgen Klopp but is yet to feature this season, only making the Reds’ matchday squad once – for the Carabao Cup tie against his old club Chelsea in September.
Scottish giants Rangers, managed by former Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard, were linked with a move for the one-cap England international in the summer and there has been recent speculation they are ready to make a new move in January.
But, according to the London Evening Standard, Palace boss Roy Hodgson is hoping to convince Solanke to spend the second half of the season in the Premier League at Selhurst Park.
